Bella Gloves: Made from Deadstock Materials

Bella sheepskin gloves are made from deadstock sheepskin — meaning surplus materials from previous productions and existing material stocks.

The sheepskin can come from both our own productions and other manufacturers. For example, it can be leftover material from the production of leather jackets, where large, continuous pieces of leather are needed. The smaller pieces can be just the right size and quality for a pair of Bella gloves.

This also means that the available colors and number of gloves depend on which materials are available. Sometimes we find a lot. Other times, there is only enough for a limited number. Once a specific color is sold out, we may not be able to produce it again.

Same quality. Limited quantities.

Deadstock describes where the material comes from — not its quality.

The sheepskin we select for Bella must meet our requirements for quality and performance, just like the other materials we work with.

The result is Bella: A soft sheepskin glove where the available material helps determine both the colors and quantities we can produce.
