Shopper bags

At Markberg, we have a wide range of shoppers in a variety of materials and designs, so there is something for everyone. 

The classic shopper bag is characterized by a large zipperless compartment, a small inside pocket and the shoulder handle. However, we have expanded our range of shoppers to accommodate other needs such as zipper closure, multiple pockets and detachable crossbody straps on selected styles. However, the classic large compartment and shoulder handle will always remain. A good example of a classic shopper is our Antonella Shopper, which comes in beautiful, timeless colors and in beautiful antique leather that will get a patina over time. There are several other shoppers in the same style as the Antonella Shopper. The Jayda Shopper, Shelby Shopper and Reese Shopper have the same features and spaciousness that make them a classic shopper and perfect for the shopping trip or lightweight work bag. The selection of work bags is large, so you can find the shopper or work bag that will meet your needs. 

Some of our women's shopper bags are made from recycled plastic and come in a variety of colors and patterns. There are both simple and more detailed designs, so there's something for everyone. The Perina Shopper has a large compartment and a zipper pocket on the front, so it can be used when you're going to the beach, school, or work. Shoppers made from recycled plastic are water-repellent, so you don't have to worry about the weather or wet items when carrying your shopper bag. Alternatively, the Julie Shopper is great if you're going to the gym or yoga class, as it's designed as a sports bag with room for a yoga mat.

We also have shoppers in several sizes. The smaller shoppers in the category often come with a crossbody strap, so it can be used in multiple ways. If you're looking for a large shopper bag suitable for a weekend trip, a trip to the beach or a workout, look for our spacious and practical recycled plastic shoppers. They have a zippered closure and often multiple interior pockets to keep your items easily organized. You can get an overview of these if you filter by material under the category. Several of our leather, cotton and recycled plastic shoppers can also hold a 14' computer, while selected shoppers can hold up to 15'.

What will your shopper bag be used for?

When choosing a shopper, you should consider what it will be used for. The shopper can be used for many purposes due to the large storage space, however, we have designed some bags with extra features that make them more useful for work or training. In addition, consider the material of the bag. Since we produce shoppers in several types of leather, there are differences in its appearance and the amount of care. A good rule of thumb is that lambskin and antique leather require more care. In addition, antique leather gets a patina over time. If you want a shopper bag that requires less care, we recommend both embossed leather and grain leather. However, we also have several shoppers made from recycled plastic, which is a durable and water-repellent material. A shopper in this material is therefore very practical for training. 

Caring for your shopper 

We produce shoppers in several types of leather including calfskin and lambskin. We have two care ranges in the form of impregnation and leather cream, which are suitable for different types of leather. Therefore, we recommend that you check the material of the bag once you have selected the one that suits your taste perfectly. This can be found at the bottom of the product page under "Descriptions and Materials". The associated care products are described below under "Care". Upon receipt, we recommend that you impregnate the bag, which protects it from dirt, grease, and moisture. If the leather becomes dull or dry over time, it can be treated with leather cream, which revitalizes the leather and makes it soft and supple. Bags made from recycled plastic do not need to be impregnated as the fabric is already impregnated from production. This material can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
