Member of Leather Working Group

Markberg is a member of Leather Working Group (LWG), which is a non-profit organization working dedicated on reducing the environmental impact of the leather industry.

It is our goal to ensure all tanneries in our supply chain are audited members of LWG no later than 2022 having as a minimum a bronze-rating.

We expect to reach this goal for 80% of our leathers already in 2021.
